Scientific programme
Lectures
The lectures have been selected by the scientific programme committee out of proposals submitted. Invited lectures are marked * in the programme; the Board of EBC selected the topics and invited the speakers.
Debate Sessions
Participants in previous EBC Congresses asked for more discussion and debate. In response to this, the scientific programme committee has arranged two debate sessions:
- 'Enzymes'
- 'Wort Boiling'
The sessions will be concluded by a panel discussion in which an active debate between the presenters and the audience is envisaged. Both are scheduled for presentation on Tuesday afternoon, 8 May. We look forward to seeing you there.
Posters
It is envisaged that in approximately 100 posters a wide variety of topics will be presented. Posters will be on display throughout the congress and authors will be available for discussion during the extended lunch intervals from Monday through to Wednesday. At the time of publishing this programme the poster selection is being made.
EBC and International Activity posters
In addition to the lectures and posters there will be EBC and International Activity posters on display to inform delegates of the latest global developments.
Language
English is the only congress language and simultaneous interpretation will not be provided.
Summaries
Summaries in English will be published in the final congress programme which all delegates will receive upon registration in Venice. In April 2007, these will also be published on EBC's website (www.ebc-nl.com).
Proceedings
The texts of all lectures and posters will be published as Congress Proceedings on cd-rom. All registered delegates will receive a copy in autumn 2007.
